About us
Club statement
Buckingham Swans SC is a swimming club offering learning and training opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We are a voluntary club and this underpins every aspect of our operation so that we remain truly inclusive for all people in our Community. We provide both recreational and competitive pathways from age 9 upwards. The club’s competitive section offers training for children and adults who wish to compete at a local, county or regional level. We achieve this through partnerships with other local swimming clubs so that competitive swimmers are able to step up and down to align to their competitive ambitions. Less experienced and/or recreational swimmers can develop their skills in a fun and friendly environment. Our thriving Masters section also caters for both recreational swimming and for those who wish to compete up to a regional level. Our Masters section is a key part of our strategy to attract volunteers and support for the Committee.
