Founded in 1996, BSSC has developed quickly into a thriving club with a growing membership drawn from the town of Buckingham and the surrounding area of North Buckinghamshire.
Our ethos is to provide learning and training opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We are proud to offer both competitive and social swimming in a flexible low cost environment.

We provide teaching by skilled experienced coaches. Competitive swimmers from age of 9 years upwards compete at Local, County and Regional level, younger and less experienced swimmers can develop their skills in a fun and friendly environment.
Training is tailored to suit the needs of all swimmers, and ranges from 5 sessions/7.5 hours for higher level competitive swimmers to 1 session/1 hour per week for recreational swimmers. All training takes place in a structured and disciplined environment.

Update Log
Club members compete in a number of different gala events around the Oxford and North Bucks County area, and further afield in the South-East Region. As a club we compete in team galas in the ASA Chiltern League.
During the first half of 2009 we built on our partnership with Maxwell SC to provide a pathway of opportunities for swimmers who wish to improve their skills further, particularly by the addition of more pool hours and dedicated training sessions.
Our Club has an active and supportive committee.
