Club coaching and administration changes

BSSC is making some committee and coaching changes from 1st June to ensure that the club is positioned to continue its excellent progress in the future.

In recognition of his role in improving the performance of swimmers at all levels within the club, Neil Blunstone has accepted the position of Performance Coach. BSSC has several soon-to-be-qualified L1 coaches, and we hope that these will be able to develop their skills within the club under Neil and Dave's guidance. Furthermore, Neil has decided to relinquish the position of Club Secretary so that he can concentrate on his coaching role, which is now taking up far more of his time - the club has an increasing number of swimmers working towards County and Regional times for 2011, and a growing number of Buckingham-based swimmers coming through the BSSC and Maxwell Swans squads. Neil will continue as a committee member.

Fiona Taylor has agreed to accept the position of Club Secretary, and will at the same time step down from her current position of Membership Secretary. Julie Bridgman will join the committee as Membership Secretary. We welcome Fiona and Julie to their new roles.
