20/04/2010 Great Britain International Maxwell Swimmer Launches Swim Schools
Great Britain Swimmer Craig Gibbons has launched his own swim clinics which are intended to provide swimmers of the BAGCAT ages (of any ability) the opportunity to learn from the best and be taught skills that will enable them to improve.
Craig will be present the whole day to give demonstrations and advice on what it takes to reach the highest level. He will also share the knowledge that has been taught to him to enable him to swim at World and European Championships for Great Britain. Craig’s current coach; GB Coach Kevin Brooks will also be at the camps providing the coaching during each session.
The day will educate the swimmers and parents on the basics of nutrition and how it has a huge impact on their performances. It will also cover stroke technique and efficiency, drills, skills and land training work; to improve flexibility, core stability and injury prevention.
