At Rugby SC L2 / L3 Open on 10th April 2010 Matthew Eddy gained a South East Regional Championship qualifying time over 200m Backstroke.
Matthew's previous PB for this event over short course was 2:56.79. Matthew swam a time of 2:49.24 to qualify against a target time of 2:51.50.
Matthew joins five of our other swimmers Chris Gann, Adam Hilliard, Katie Lee, Louise Brunt and Sam Jordan in being eligible to compete at this event in late May / early June.
The South East Regional Championships is the next step on from the county championships and TEAM BSSC has never had so many athletes qualify for entry.
