Waitrose ‘Community Matters’ Scheme
BSSC has been selected by Waitrose Buckingham as a beneficiary of its ‘Community Matters’ scheme during the month of March. For those unfamiliar with this, the scheme works as follows:
Three organisations are chosen each month to receive financial support from Waitrose. Shoppers receive a green token for each spend of £10 or more, and the token is placed by the shopper in the preferred collection tube by the store exit. At the end of the month, the available funding is shared between the three organisations in proportion to the number of tokens deposited in each tube.
I hope you will be able to support BSSC for the next month by shopping at Waitrose; please tell your relatives, friends, work colleagues, and anyone else you know, about BSSC’s participation in this scheme! We will hopefully be able to purchase a good amount of equipment with the money raised.
