Colin Eddy has accepted the postion of BSSC Team Manager.
The team manger will work closely with the coaches, fixtures secretary and of course swimmers to:
Plan a gala strategy to maximise results over the season.
Ensure highest levels of participation at all competitive levels.
Help achieve the best possible performances.
Monitor swimmer performance.
Bring new or inexperienced swimmers into the competitive environment.
Enable our elite swimmers to get exposure to top level competition.
Co-ordinate gala arragements / fixtures.
Colin said "Our swimmers have fantastic skill, determination and enthusiasm. I have been proud to be associated with their performance since becomming an active member of the club. BSSC has a strong competitive squad and I intend to build our levels of participation. I want to put 'Team BSSC' firmly on the gala map and get our swimmers winning even more awards."
'Team BSSC' will next be in action on March 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th at the short course County Championships at Aquavale. There will be a Chiltern League fixture on 27th March 2010. See gala schedule page for details.
